Vegas Empire Athletics tryouts will take place in May 2026.


We offer a range of competitive team programs designed to meet different athlete goals, family schedules, financial commitments, and travel preferences.


From first-time athletes to elite competitors, every program is built to develop strong fundamentals, confidence, and a love for the sport of cheer.

OUR PROGRAMS

Novice Teams

Our Novice Program is the perfect entry point into All-Star cheer.

Novice teams are non-travel competitive teams that focus on learning the foundations of cheer, teamwork, and performance in a supportive environment.


Program Highlights:

  • No experience required
  • 2 practices per week (typical structure)
  • Competes at 3 local competitions
  • Rankings-based scoring (non-placement focused division)
  • Performs at 2 program showcases


Novice is ideal for athletes new to cheer who want a fun, structured introduction to competitive cheerleading.

American Grand Champions

Prep Teams

Our Prep Program is designed for athletes ready to take the next step in their cheer journey.


Prep teams remain non-travel competitive teams, but introduce more structured training and performance expectations.


Program Highlights:

  • No experience required
  • 2–3 practices per week (typical structure)
  • Competes at 3 local competitions
  • Performs at 2 program showcases
  • Strong focus on skill development and progression


Prep is a great fit for athletes who are ready for more consistency, commitment, and growth.

Elite Teams

Our Elite Program is for athletes ready for a higher level of commitment, performance, and competition.


Elite teams are travel competitive teams that compete both locally and out of state, offering a more advanced cheer experience.


Program Highlights:

  • Competes 5–6 times per season (local + out of state)
  • Performs at 2 program showcases
  • Higher training expectations and commitment level
  • Designed for advanced skill development and performance excellence


Elite athletes are placed into one of three travel levels: Bronze, Silver, or Gold, based on age, skill, and commitment level.

ELITE PROGRAM LEVELS

Bronze Package

ELITE BRONZE

Elite Bronze is an introduction to travel-level cheer with a balanced commitment.



Program Highlights:

  • 2 competitions within driving distance
  • 3 local competitions
  • 2 program showcases + additional send-off performances
  • No additional weekend practices
  • Does not accept Summit bids


Elite Bronze is ideal for families wanting a competitive experience with a more local travel schedule.

Silver Package

ELITE SILVER

Elite Silver offers a more advanced travel experience with increased competition opportunities.



Program Highlights:

  • 2 competitions requiring flights
  • 1 competition within driving distance
  • 2–3 local competitions
  • 2 program showcases + send-off performances
  • Weekend practice required before each competition
  • Accepts D2 Summit bids


Elite Silver is designed for athletes ready for a higher level of commitment and performance.

Gold Package

ELITE GOLD

Elite Gold is our highest level of competitive cheer at Vegas Empire Athletics.


This program is built for elite athletes committed to top-tier performance and national-level competition.


Program Highlights:

  • 3 flight-required competitions (including NCA)
  • 1 driving-distance competition
  • 1–2 local competitions
  • 2 program showcases + send-off performances
  • Weekend practices prior to competitions
  • Accepts D2 Summit bids


Elite Gold represents the highest level of training, travel, and competitive excellence.
